Pick a Patch
During Tour du Sud, the SUD store will be open for browsing, shopping and discovering new favourites. Alongside the store we’ll be hosting Pick a Patch, a live custom embroidery experience.
Our embroidery machine will be running live in the back of the store, giving you the chance to add a personal touch to your favourite pieces. Pick a patch from our Flash Book, filled with small illustrations by local makers.
You can upcycle your clothing and other textile items to give it a new life, or choose a blank tote bag or pencil case from the SUD store to make it your own.
A few things to know
The maximum embroidery size is approximately 8 × 8 cm. There’s a small fee per embroidery. And for this special setup, we’ll be stitching all designs in black thread, keeping things classic and easy to mix and match.
Bringing your own item? Our embroidery machine can be a bit picky! For the best result, please bring a non-stretchy, non-transparent cotton textile. Very thin or thick fabrics may not work well with the machine. Not sure if your item will work ? Bring it along and we’ll have a look!
